For this treatment to be affective at leat 10-12 sessions are needed over a period of approximately 3-4 months. It can be painful leaving the skin bruised and sore. Whilst having the treatment, the skin cannot be exposed to direct sunlight. Although the treatment is harsh and lengthy, the skin is supposed to become smoother and look younger.
Laser Treatment - This is a very effective treatment for many skin conditions such as wrinkles, scars, tattoos, facial hair or stretch marks. The procedure is pulsed dye lasers and if done well, the skin should end up better than normal. Sometimes it can be painful depending on your pain threshold. Some people require anesthetic while others may handle the pain. Basically the scared skin is burned off layer by layer. While this is happening, new skin tissues regenerate and resurface, replacing the damaged scared skin tissue with healthy new skin tissue. After the treatment there is usually bruising, scabbing, and peeling of the skin. 7-8 sessions are required for this treatment to be successful.
